As you can see I have changed the color of the adsense to blinding colors.

After testing on many different sites I found that adsense does far better with this color scheme.

Please feel free to test for yourself and don't hate me for being colorful ;)

There are far better reasons for that. ;)

I also suggested this tip awhile back, after some testing. It seems people like to make it blend into their site, so it doesn't look like an ad, but you will get more clicks if you draw attention to it.

I actually used to click often on google adsense in the past for relevant links.
With the new coloring, even If it is of interest, I wont click. I refuse to.
I dont even look at it, so I dont know what the ads are about.

DCG: you are at risk using these colors! Google requires the url to be visible, it's in the small print. Not following their rules can easily lead to shutting off accounts.

Trust me, I have good relationship with google and I am not breaking any rules by using their color picker to pick my colors.

Just quoting the Adsense policies:

The ad colors must be such that any ad elements, including text and URL, are visible.

For each ad I see the title and the description, but there is also a URL at the bottom of the ad which is hidden (at least it doesn't show on my system).

The ad size Adam is using does not have the URL at the bottom. Only some of the ad sizes have the URL at the bottom.
