I checked my Adsense account this afternoon. It was $1.06 - I know, pitiful, but what can I say, economy sucks.

I checked again just now and it was $0.86. Wha! Negative clicks? Advertiser remorse? Wormhole in the space time continuum? What's going on?

So, no one thinks this is a little strange?

No, it is common practice by Google and most parking companies. You will hear lots of theories why, some pretty far out there.

If you were to contact Google they would tell you for a number of reason the clicks did not qualify. Possibly suspicion of click fraud, double click, click could have come from a country were the ad did not apply.

Believe me you are not the only one, most of us are numb to this fact, it is happened to us for so long.

I haven't witnessed that with Adsense. What shows, is what "qualified" - nothing more, nothing less.

Lucky you I guess Arco, or maybe you just haven't noticed because you check your stats with less frequency.

I have had my number of clicks and revenue decrease before just like this other guy. Maybe I speak for myself only, but I am numb to this behavior.

Well, I've been doing adsense on my sites for a year now, usually checking a couple of times a day, and I haven't noticed this behavior before. Anybody else care to chime in?

At low volume numbers like mine, I can see that most people would say whatever, but if you're pulling $100+ a day and suddenly had 20% of your revenue swiped, I'd think you'd be a little pissed.

Happens sometimes when they detect "click fraud" or "click bombing".

You wouldn't think their click fraud or click bombing algorithms would get triggered for a 20¢ inconsistency.

btw, nice sites. I like the way you integrate the the link units at the top on car tuning and truck and trailers

Thx!

Well, in fact I do think they trigger it for 1 cent, the problem is the amount of legal problems they've had in the past 'cause of click fraud, so 1 cent is important for them, not for the cent itself, but for what might be behind that.

1 cent * a bunch of million publishers * 365 days per year...

I have not seen this for any of my sites, but I have had clicks logged at $0.00 so I am guessing those are determined by google to be fraudulent clicks...

Yep, that happens also, and too many times to ignore.
