Their moderators are horrible! This one keeps banning me intentionally, he gave me 3 infractions for the same thread! THAT'S A YEAR OLD.
FOR NO REASON. I REPORTED A TROLL THAT POSTED IN MY THREAD CONSTANTLY TALKIN SH*t.

Now I'm banned after 3 infractions back to back, all within the same minute as the email says. I'M A PAID ADVERTISER TOO.

I'm so sick of it! I have over 6000 posts there, rep up the a$$, and well over 100 positive feedback! NO NEGATIVES! Been there longer than the mods!

AM so tired of it all!

I'm tired of their build-in ads in threads.

Its not limited to DigitalPoint. Most Moderators have control issues, they fail to realise that their job is to ensure that the forum remains tidy and to address complaints. Many believe their job is to police the WWW. If you believe you are undeserving then simply contact the owner of the board directly.

Moderators do more damage to moral than the other members.

One problem with DP is that it has become a scammer nest and the admins/mods don't seem to address the issue.

I think I have seen it two or three times, only when someone inserts a link to DP.

I joined perhaps 6 years ago. Never active.

The site is full of trolls. Tell me how someone in my sales thread kept trolling the thread and trying to call my stats out as fake. He has negative iTrader and is new tot he forum, yet I been there over 6 years, have superior rep, over 100 positive iTrader and no negatives, and I REPORT THE GUY IN THE MY THREAD AND THE MOD BANS ME AND GIVES ME INFRACTIONS FROM MY OWN THREAD THAT I REPORTED.

If it's so awful, then why are you missing it? :) Don't worry about it.

I don't bother with that forum...

Does their advertising convert well? Maybe trolls buy a lot?

The $69 question is why do you want to fight to be back to the scammer land?

Guys, please don't be mean to me. I really am asking for your help & support, especially if you had similar experiences I would really appreciate having you guys back me up. I'd do it ofr you. It's not to be there instead of being here. I was actually in the middle of a transaction there and I'm a paid advertiser there. This ban not only lost me a $125 sale (which I desperately need because I'm disabled; I broke my back), but I'm also a constant advertiser there. They gave me a 5 point infraction for a Post/PM spam with no explanation, which was an advertisement that I actually pay for. I also got numerous infractions to deliberately ban me for a thread over 6 months old for "duplicate thread" when they weren't duplicate threads, but threads with different content and pricing.

This moderator has some personal discrimination against me. I don't know why but it's obvious the ban was deliberate. The emails also show this as well, being infractions were done within the same minute to result in my ban, not over time.

I know this has happened to people here, and I'd really like your back on this. Being that we're all from DN Forum, I want you to have my back because you know what, we're all credible and legit just being members of his forum. I want to get DP's owner Shawn's attention as well to see what the mods are doing with their abuse of power, letting trolls and spammers slide yet banning every webmaster who's credible, reputable, and us guys who could potentially be paid members of their site that his staff is banning. It's discriminating.

And the worst thing is, I reported a member in my sales thread recently that was bashing my sale and cursing at me and trolling and requested him to be banned. Hours later when the moderator that hates me looked at my report, he banned me and gave me infractions back to back to ban me. He used my report against me.

Please guys, I ask that you get my back. If you need anything in return I will do it.

If my best friend asked me get his back on this I wouldn't do it and you know why? because he's better off without them... Why would anyone want to be member of a Forum where the adminstrators treat him or her like dirt?

My suggestion to you is, take your advertising dollars somewhere else where it will be appreciated.

EGS, I don't know digitalpoint well. I feel your pain. If you pay to put your ad in their forum, then why would they stop you from posting stuff. Were you breaking some rules? If they kick you out and harm your reputation, then they should erase your ad too. He should also issue you a refund. If I were the forum owner, knowing I don't want you in my forum, that's what I would do.

Raider made a good point. Your ad in the forum that doesn't like you doesn't serve you anything. Get out of there and come dnforum. Dnforum members and moderators are much nicer lol.

Did you talk to the owner of the forum? Maybe he can resolve your issue. The owner's the one who took your money, so he'll probably work something out with you. A lot of times, the owner of the business would handle your situation differently. He'd probably issue you a refund. You'll be happy, and he goes on conducting his good forum business. Without that, you'll go around ranting, yapping. You giving him bad name, is like giving his forum bad advertisement. This is never good in any business. Maybe the owner didn't know about this. Contact the owner.

Maybe yes, I've been ripped off once and in the end, I am the one who got temporary ban because of mocking the scammer :) But thats few years ago, and I seldom trade anything from that very moment at their forum.

just thought i would add my 2 cents here, i don't usually use the forum there (maybe once a month) and when i do i get slaped with rediculous infractions - just got one for replying to a post and also PM'd the person who started the thread. really, wow i can't believe i got an infraction for that. do they have mustard for brains. im still confused, maybe the mods get paid to give out infractions or have a quota, LMFAO,

and they keep asking me for a paid membership when i go on - like that will ever happen, lol
