I saw the preview for it a LONG time ago and would have
swore that it was going to be released in May.

Perhaps they changed it, or maybe my memory is bad.

maybe. If I remember correctly T2 came out July 12th, I forget the year. I was so stoked after that movie... I don't really see how they can work a T3 into the timeline, but I am sure given the amount of time they have had to work on it, they have come up with a plausible explanation.

Another good, workable sequel are the Back to the Future ones, although I liked #1 best, 2&3 were worth the wait.
