Even $100K is too cheap for Kirikos.com -- all my lady friends wouldn't be able to find me! And, I'd need to change a lot of mailing lists, etc.
Best pronounciation would be:
"ker" as in "kermit"
"EEE" as in "tree" <<--- emphasis
"kos" as in "coast"
So, ker-EEEE-kos
Although, if I say my name in Greek, instead of in English, I'd pronounce it:
"kee" as in "key"
"REE" as in "real" <<-- emphasis
"kos" as in "Kosta" (couldn't think of something with the "right" sound in English!)
There's actually an "Ayios Kirikos" (St. Kirikos) island in Greece, so I was fortunate that I registered Kirikos.com years ago, before folks realized the importance of the internet. I have the .net/org/ca too, but some boat company owns
www.kirikos.gr
Some guy who shares the last name as me was cursing me via email (I'm not related, though), as I wouldn't sell him the domain name, and didn't want to be on his spamming email list (he was sending long messages every day, sheesh). Too many freaks out there!
On Google, I also pay for Adwords Select (5 cents a click), just to be absolutely sure that folks can find me.
