Does anyone here have 1 of the old licences for PHP Audit?

A few years ago they offered the chance to buy a licence that allowed you to have lifetime support and lifetime upgrades. The same license also allowed you to make unlimited amount of profiles and licences.

Well they have announced a new version under a different name.

Guess what, lifetime support and lifetime upgrades doesn't actually mean lifetime. They are only allowing the free upgrade if you have an active PAID for support licence from them and apparently lifetime support does not cut it.

Don't think I will be bothering with their software any more.

There are ways around the software anyways. I never understood why users paid for such a licensing system so easily to get around.

True but it stops the casual person circumventing the licence, you also make it harder by of course encoding the files using ioncube or zend encoder which adds a bigger complexity into it.
