what do you mean "boring"? this might be a naive opinion for a domain board, but as far as developing a site goes, .biz can be promoted the same as a .com, so why not use it. as more people promote alternate extentions, the more normal they will seem. i see them advertised far more today than two years ago, and they'll be used that much more in the near future.

developement wise, yes, you r right, it can be a killa!

But the extension prohibits resell - not good if you have no site and ask - how much?

Its a damgerous extension - you can lose it if you seek name only sale - rdrp prohibits such offerings

i hear ya. silly me gets confused between marketing potential of a domain as a website, and just domain resale value alone.

Not true.
It's even not true that you can not sell the name only.
What *is* true is that you cannot sell the name if you registered it for the sole purpose of reselling it.But as long as you registered it for your business and maybe had something business related up there for a while it's different.

Ludicrous.. do you just make stuff up as you go ?

I sold Posters.Biz yesterday.. I have inquiries on other .biz's I hold

.Biz registrations are very strong keeping pass with .Info..

perhaps what you mean is ----you have no interest in .Biz ?---

you want to bash..try New.Net

Hey chill out!

Congrats on selling posters.biz.

I just feel the extension has little value and I'm not alone. Part of that is name resell only is discouraged. And the "z".

The rdrp is real get a clue.

You dont get Tee.. the domain registrations continue to be very STRONG..you're clueless.. rdrp isnt affecting registrations one bit now is it.. dont come over from New.Net and start talking about what extensions are crap..

Im not from new.net, im from nyc, get a grip!

Yours is the first .biz name I've heard of as being resold.

What other names have been resold? Is there any history?

Maybe I am a little too bashy on .biz.

I guess I just don't like it much, as a pure speculation, because of the restrictions.
