I would ignore low ball offers like this one as I am sure this is not an end-user (in my definition). So the buyer would be either a kid/domainer or DNF member.

no...he was an end-user...i tracked his email to his site which he was some sort of holistic medicine type guru...and wanted to purchase my domain as it fit his type of practice....he sent me an e-mail offering $75...i replied stating that i planned on developing domain and minimum i would consider would be x,xxx....he never really replied back...this was a while ago...i wonder if i should bother follwoing up with him?

any thoughts?

Thanks
Tony

I get emails and calls asking to buy domains for next to nothing. One of them even said "that's how much me and my two buddies came up with" referring to a $1k total. He was the CEO of a company that was sold for $2 million to a major online directory.

Unlike John, I suggest making it clear that you *are* in the domain business and that you know the value of your domains.

$75 offer is not an end-user in my definition and I would not want to waste my time on these offers.

%99 of the time you will end up no where and even if you accept the offer he may and will back out.
