Domain Name: www.astronautilus.com - Received an offer, how much do you think it's worth?

Message:
I recently registered www.astronautilus.com, the name of a band. Their official site is entirely unrelated to their band's name (www.modelcitizens.org).

My domain already shows up on the 2nd page of google (parked @ND) among 70,000+ listings when you type their band's name in (their official site 2nd or so overall).

OVT w/o EXT of ~224.

The band is still indie, so they don't have a label backing them to purchase the domain, but I imagine they have a bit of money available to purchase such an important part of marketing.

The initial email offered $20 (I'm certainly hoping for more than that...), with the comment 'i am willing to negotiate'.

Where do you think I should go from here? This would be my first ever domain sale! :)
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Are you sure it's the band and not some other seller looking to turn it for a profit. 20$ is almost and insult if it's worth anything to them.

Counter offer for $500. If it is the actual band trying to buy it from you they should at least be able to all chip in and buy the name for that price.

yea, something fishy smells here. one thing should be clear here that anybody offering you such a low offer of xx is simply a joke with hidden ulterior motives. just counter with a high $xxx to see how they`ll respond. good luck.
