Blank looks is about the best I get. Most people have not got a clue what I am talking about when explaining this business to them, goes that far that I am asked "what is a domain?" - and we are talking about business people here - but once it is something they can´t put their hands on...You´ve lost.

domaining is a very decent and intellectual business which very few people are able to do......intellectual property owners deserve a lot more than what respect is given to them.....right now a lot of time, money and enegy is being spend by me into bridging this information gap.....and making the general audience realise how important the internet real estate is and once they understand it......they have no other option but to give all of us respect just like any big shot realtor gets.......i would definately like to give a lot to this industry as well as all of you......without which the establishment of websitetraders.com would not have been possible........i just need your best wishes and support.....

I started with web development, then into domaining.
When people ask me what am I doing, I just tell them "webmaster stuff"

Yay. To say that you park domains for a living just doesn't cut it well with the uneducated crowds ;)

Kate,

I have found two things appear to happen when you tell people about domains. They become very interested or they think you are crazy.

I have come to realize that when people think you are crazy it's the better outcome of the two. That way you can end the conversation and continue doing what you're doing.
