Are owners of .co.uk interested in .coms?

It is generally known that almost all established companies /websites with different extensions than the .com are interested in acquiring the .com.

My question is whether companies/ website owners of .co.uk are also interested in the .coms or are they satisfied with their own country's extension?

Cheers.

can't speak for .co.uk owners, but that extension is solid and well established

the few .co.uk folks i have contacted, were interested...but seemed satisfied with what they have

i think unless you have a lot of drainage to com, from co.uk, then there's not much leverage...depending on domain.

I guess it depends what market they are in - if it is exclusively in the UK then possibly not, but if they are likely to have international clientele it would make a lot of sense to get the .com version as well.

Most all of my more well-heeled .co.uk clients are in the .com market. I just wish I offered services in that space, but that may change this year.

Good to know! I always got the feeling they were exclusively interested in their own country's extension. It does make sense that they would be open to seizing the .com to expand their business.

As said above, that depends if they have international scope. Purely local businesses typically won't care.
