Please re-check your pump-n-dump promotional calendar!

2006 was scheduled for IDNs.

2007 is for .mobi.

Please stick with the schedule!

I have to agree with politics on this one to a degree, I seen many oddball cctld's like .gd? A .gd really? I would buy a IDN .com before I bought a .gd. Even if it's a keyword it makes very little sense to me personally but I'm all for the success of the auction so hopefully they all sell. Cheers,

Acro

Why am i seeing my FAVORITE extention being bashed     . My dear acro you can buy my F.GD for a cool $1000   .

We should love .GD, why must .GD be the scapecoat for all the obscure CCTLDS :sigh2: :sigh2: . Poor .GD, we should all go diss .co.ck.  .

One .GD love here :eek:k:

To All:

There will be IDN names in the upcoming Moniker Traffic West auction in Vegas. The .com names will still dominate the Live event. The Master list posted on the site will be updated tomorrow showing the selected IDN's . See this link:

http://marketplacepro.moniker.com/auction/index.html

We believe IDNs may be of value to many of the bidders and those attending so we are including them for that reason, but for obvious other reasons they require additional validation and a different set up and that's why we had not listed them sooner.

That's the bottom line on the IDN's ...I hope that helps.

John A. Mauriello

Thank you John. Seems some domainers here suffer from "foot in mouth" disease.

looks like Moniker approved a prime idn phishing domain for the traffic auctions

XN--MSS-RMA.COM MÃ*SS.COM

You claim it took an extra week to verify these words. What kind of research was actually done?

DNWizardX9-

That name XN--MSS-RMA.COM M*SS.COM is being removed during the update as it is a mix of two languages/letters. This was a mistake on our part and to list this in there from tjhe start and it slipped through in the most recent update, which is why all the IDN's submitted are going through additional validation and scrutiny. Regardless, we have not had a huge number of submissions of IDN names and many that were submitted must pass the additional validation and confirmation process that they are clean names (not names that mix languages-mixed letters) ownership confirmation , and realistic reserves. Additionally we are have engaged the IDN community to assist with selecting the very best IDN names of those submitted.

We frankly don't know if we will be able to sell or not but and this is the first auction where we received any significant submissions. Regardless we we will do our best to present good, clean IDN's with realistic reserves so that they will receive bids and hopefully sell.

I hope that further clarifies the situation for all.

Maybe...

but I know Laurie did submit some first class hebrew names. None of hers made the list.

You might not have quantity but many members submitted quality. IMO you selected the lower tier IDNs that had been submitted.

i am the owner of a.gd which is in the live auction ;) i dont think it was chosen based on the extension but on the basis of it being one letter. some 1 letter names have been reaching mid $x,xxx

Ok, .gd is not the worst cctld out there but I do feel IDN.com is better. Before any argument of course there are exceptions to every rule and many single letter with cctld will do well simply because it's a short combo. Is that better Sam? Hehehe
