Firstly, I don't make this post lightly, I'd done business with this guy on numerous occasions, I liked him and I trusted him. This is very much a last resort for me. Unfortunately that trust ended up costing me thousands of dollars. I've given him months and months to resolve this amicably, he has chosen not to.
It's a very long story but the shorthand version is this. I bought a share or stake in a collection of domains, many of which it would now appear he didn't own. When I wanted out we agreed a fair split of those domains, very few of which were transferred to me (including all the high value domains, the ones that would have made this deal semi worth it). I repeatedly chased him up via both email and phone, but still the names were not transferred.
He doesn't seem to be active on DNF anymore but he may be doing business via MSN or email or on other forums â so this warning is for those of you who might be thinking of buying names from him or partnering with him on a project.
I don't like getting ripped off, no one does. I appreciate he's a long time member and probably has many friends amongst the members here (I was one of them before this). That doesn't change the fact he's turned out to be a con artist â sad but a fact nonetheless.
