I am actually negotiating with Azeras on a domain, and while the price he gave I didn't agree with, it was far from unreasonable given I approached him for it. We may actually work out a trade though I'm waiting to hear back from him. He may have them showing on a page somewhere online for 6-figures but have you actually approached him to buy the domain?

Well-said, Steve. This character here, Tommy "fudge" Byron, not only talks down about portfolio holders but also posts their WHOIS info which is against DNForum rules.

When I see what I can buy here for 2 cents ...
Imho it is nobody's business what people pay for anything.
Money must roll.
No money roll = no VAT, no income tax, no innovation, no projects, no new jobs created, existing jobs lost, etc. doom scenario.
Rich people are the land where the rest of the population grows on.
Free giveaways should be forbidden.
Supply chains must become longer instead of simplified.
The longer a supply chain, the more jobs.
If seller and buyer agree about price, why should other people bother about?
Isn't it so that business expences are in many countries tax-deductible?
Are there no ways to see domain purchases as business asset investment?
If trade is supposed to have satisfied sellers and buyers, imho there is no need for outsider critics.
I wish both Steve and Azaras a satisfactory deal, whatever the number of figures.
