Two of the main reasons that a domain name can have value are: 1) it gets traffic, and 2) someone would potentially want to develop a site using the name.

These names won't get traffic, so we are on to number 2. It doesn't seem like there would be a reasonable chance that anyone would want to build a site around those names. The .org names don't make any sense to me, though without looking at Google I will assume they make sense to someone else. That said, those look to be product names, and obscure products at that, so it is hard to imagine an interest great enough to warrant registering the .org. It could work with a stronger product like MobilePhone(s).org, but you are really throwing money away here with these names.

Assuming you are brand-new to the business, and seem excited, I would suggest taking a few months do just read about domain names only.....no registering of names of any kind. Study legitimate sales threads where names acutally change hands (not asking prices, actual sales prices). You will see that there are thousands of names on this very site that are really worth zero.

Once you have a stronger handle on what makes a name have value, then you can start buying some names on the forums, and you can get some good names pretty cheap these days. Only after having success buying a few names off of others and reselling them for a profit would I even think about registering names, if I were you. You gotta walk before you can run.

For now, you need to realize that if it is available to register then it isn't worth registering....until you get some more knowledge and experience. 99 percent of the most successful domainers in the world have registered names that were far worse than what you have. You might as well save a bit of money and learn from other people's mistakes. Be careful of Google results at this stage. Stick to the basics for now.....just ask yourself if the name makes sense.

Thanks very much for the piece of advice. I do admit most of them don't really make sense but for the first domain "bagsaccessories.net" I would think that someone would search for a term like "bags accessories" looking for a store which sells bags AND accessories, omitting the "and".

jbgal,

I am going to assume the reason you bought bagsaccessories.net is you recently saw the .com being purchased. Either from a drop or a new hand reg this year. I am not sure what your intention was but the truth is i would never type in " bags + accessories". Even if someone was looking for bag accessories it would not be plural. As for the other names, they are registered in .org and really have no value.

Good luck to you though, you have to make mistakes early or you will never learn.
