.BE Free First year promotion about to start (6pmEST) 10/31/2005

.BE (Belgium) is doing a free promotion on .be registrations starting at 00:00;01 GMT November 1, 2005, where the first year of .be is free.

Some registrars who provision directly with the Belgian NIC ( like EuroDNS ) are passing the free through to customers.

Looks like EuroDNS is letting you load up your cart for sumbission already.

I'd suspect that the Belgian registry frowns on too much landgrab, so one might do no more than say 50 registrations per contact handle

registered about 68 i think the limit is 500. The guys from EURODNS last week were advising people not to register more than 500.

But the registry does not like domain warehousing

Tip: do not register more than 500 .be domains per nic-handle
