Here's the full story!

3-4 years ago I was a very active member here with great feedback and lots of friends on this site - this all changed when 1 mod...i forget the name decided get on me because I had great names and was selling alot. He blocked me out of my account 4 times - I called Adam 3 times, Adam unblocked me each time and said it wouldnt happen again. It did 2 more times and I gave up calling and bothering Adam because of some jelous mod that was acting beyond his reach.

I decided to sign up for a new account last month after 3 years and paid the $60 again - yes not fair, and emailed DNF to let them know the story so there would be no confusion.

NOW it seems I mihgt be having the same problems...for example the following thread was closed for NO REASON even after pming the mod of that sub-forum.

http://www.dnforum.com/f496/pleasep...-com-pressurepark-com-look-thread-280060.html

If I get blocked/Banned again - I ask that atleast one member with integrity to contact adam and let him know...I know no one wants to chance their own rep here or get on any mods bad side - but its a matter of justice.

Being a mod should be taken professionally. I think any mod that influences their desicions by their personal feelings should be removed.

I love this site, I love the people - but if this sort of thing is always going to happen - I will do what is best for me. And I know all forums have this problem with some mods power-tripping.

I am a member here since the very beginning and really sad to see the state of affairs here.

Which mod closed that thread without an explanation? On other forums like webhostingtalk whenever threads are closed by mods, they always offer a reason in a line or so.

Whoever you are, please raise your hand.

Use the report feature on that thread, and then hopefully you'll get an explanation.

Although sorry to hear that a particular mod is out of line... I can't anything at all wrong with your thread.

Only thing I can see why they closed it is because no expiration date or registar in the thread?

I have had a lot of threads closed because I guess to put a domain in the thread.

Last I checked, registrar and exp dates aren't required for sales threads here at this forum.

This is a private forum, MODS have every right to close any thread they wish. As members we also have no right to argue or question MODS on this forum. I know this from experience.

I would suggest you discuss this issue with MediaHound

Although it is not relevant to his thread but I must go down the memory lane. :)

We used to hang around on the old AfterNIC.com forum way back in 2001-2002. Afternic was owned by register.com at that time. They closed the forum without warning in March, 2002. Then this forum was started by a student way back in summers of 2002. I came to know about this place a few months later. Then the forum was bought by another domainer who was well know around here as 'Greg'. I don't remember his name though. Then the forum was bought by DCG.

Thanks for clearing this up once again! Would it be too much to ask for upgrade to exclusive since I've paid for membership twice and suffered irreversable psycological trauma (okay no psych. trauma...lol, but u know; not to mention loss of original trader rating)
