Here's the full story!

3-4 years ago I was a very active member here with great feedback and lots of friends on this site - this all changed when 1 mod...i forget the name decided get on me because I had great names and was selling alot. He blocked me out of my account 4 times - I called Adam 3 times, Adam unblocked me each time and said it wouldnt happen again. It did 2 more times and I gave up calling and bothering Adam because of some jelous mod that was acting beyond his reach.

I decided to sign up for a new account last month after 3 years and paid the $60 again - yes not fair, and emailed DNF to let them know the story so there would be no confusion.

NOW it seems I mihgt be having the same problems...for example the following thread was closed for NO REASON even after pming the mod of that sub-forum.

http://www.dnforum.com/f496/pleasep...-com-pressurepark-com-look-thread-280060.html

If I get blocked/Banned again - I ask that atleast one member with integrity to contact adam and let him know...I know no one wants to chance their own rep here or get on any mods bad side - but its a matter of justice.

Being a mod should be taken professionally. I think any mod that influences their desicions by their personal feelings should be removed.

I love this site, I love the people - but if this sort of thing is always going to happen - I will do what is best for me. And I know all forums have this problem with some mods power-tripping.

First of all, welcome back to DNF!
I cannot speak for the moderator that closed the thread but in reviewing your posts from the past couple of days I can say that its important you know that thread bumping is frowned upon. To bump a thread with a price reduction requires a minimum 10% reduction in the price.
Perhaps instead of closing other threads that was the one that got closed.

Again, this is speculation as I have not spoken with the moderator that closed the thread, this is just my first observation.

This is a private forum, MODS have every right to close any thread they wish. As members we also have no right to argue or question MODS on this forum. I know this from experience.
Load of rubbish. Any mod worth his/her salt will be prepared to entertain questions about their activity. It's the ones that stay clammed up that are quite rude. I know about mods from experience. I was one.

Moderators are not "robots"; they act upon the rules set forth with fully good intentions, trying to resolve the issues and diffuse situations. To boldly go where no mod has gone before! :D

Mainstream is banned, i'm assuming he wasn't obviously when he created this thread, does anyone have a relevant update to anything that was said in here, or was this some posturing?

This member was banned for several reasons, he accrued too many infraction points over a short period of time. To name just a few,
He insulted members with indecent language.
He lied about his ownership of a website he was heavily promoting.
As well asking members to join a similar forum he started.
It is unfortunate that he refused to act with decency and honesty and abide by the rules of the community.
