I really hope you didn't push/transfer the domain name to him first? :worried:

I once got a $60k offer for a .info domain I had. The domain was worth maybe $5k-7k max. The guy even opened up an Escrow transaction and I was all fired up. I never heard from him again.. :sigh2:

anyway, i will make him a great and really hot summer, the lawyers ment that there will be an upcoming $ Tsunami for him, lets see if he has enough money for that trip, otherwise i will pay for that game of my own, i need it....

sedo suspend his account for lifetime

@all
thanks for the other contact details

@britishbull..
are you still ok?

hehe, got answer of his "brother";)

Mr. xxx,

Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. I've forwarded your email to my brother who is responsible for this transaction -- this is the first I've heard of the matter. I've just now called him about this, and he says that he will be in touch with you shortly to resolve this.

If you don't hear from him by this time on Thursday, please contact me again. I'm not 100% sure, but I think he's still planning on purchasing your domain. I know he's been travelling a lot lately, so that might have something to do with the delay -- although by the tone of your email it sounds like this transaction has been pending for some time.

We'll get it sorted. Thanks for your patience.

Best,

Robert Boyd

This isn't your guy is it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Boyd

He's active on another domain forum -- I might be able to help you out if so. He's apparently going to be having a "domainer poker tournament" in Vegas on June 27th from what I've heard.

thanks reece, but the thing is cleared, our lawyers will overhand the letter of complaint, i cant understand why this f...... doesnt understand that the costs (lawyer, .....) will be added to the sale. anyway...

sedo also took him off, he had bought a few other domains in range between xxx-xxxx euro, all he didnt pay.

if somebody has a financial problem, we can discuss. if he needs time to pay, we can discuss. he told sedo after 3 weeks, that he did not get any invoice;) hahaha..., they sent it twice, also he has it in his sedo account.

he is one of those persons, who bring bad impressions to endusers about domain aftermarket. see also the wipo`s....

Dutch Boyd also owned an online poker room, and it went under. He owed thousands to the players that had money in their accounts. He never made good to them as far as I know. He had several large cashouts in tournaments since that and could have paid them back.

Yes this is the same Dutch Boyd. He owned Pokerspot and it went under. I play in the highest poker games in the world and know him vaguely. He is extrememly mentally unstable and manic. Very sad actually. He finished law school at 15 years old and has never been properly socialized. Good luck getting paid, he is a grade A scum bag.

his last mail:
Hello xxxxx,

I was in a manic episode and was committed to a mental hospital two days after making the bid for the domain name. I don't even remember making the bid. I made several attempts at resolving this with Sedo. Bottom line is this... I don't have $30k. Do what you want to do legally, but you can't squeeze blood from a turnip and I don't have it. I probably will in the future and if you're looking for specific performance, I'd love to buy the domain when I have the money... but honestly, what legal damages can you really claim? I'm not afraid of a lawsuit. I do want this resolved and want you to walk away without hard feelings because I don't need the bad karma. But I don't have $30k. I don't even have close to that. So what do you want to do?

Sorry to hear that Oppo. He states in this article that he was backe din this tournament.

http://www.pokerpages.com/articles/archives/west10.htm

And it was on ESPN that he has Bipolar disorder. But I don't know if people with Bi polar disorder, bid on domain names as a side effect?

He and his brother do have a above average domain portfolio. They also like quoting people for some reason lol.

I've had some strange offers like this too and I really have to wonder if it's originating from DNF members.
