what happens when user clicks link with native characters & gets blank page because they dont have I-nav plugin or firefox? What can I do so my links work for everybody?

Actually, if you enter the http link using the punycode ("xn--....." ) instead of the unicode (the domain name in script form) - even IE6 users can click it and it should resolve.

Also when it gets indexed in the search engines, even IE6 users who find it during a search can just click it and it should resolve via that link. This is a good argument for trying to get your new IDNs indexed as soon as possible.
