Did you change the nameservers?

As an interesting aside, I sold a site 2 plus yrs ago and my old website is still online with all my information and my affiliate programs, as the buyer never bothered to change the NS's even after his first year of renewing the name.

P.S. I even notified him about it on the phone some time ago but still nothing done by him.

Do you mean you cannot administer the domain - you have no access to the account with the Registrar?

Well just login to your godaddy account and change the nameservers to yours or you hosting provider etc and allow for the change to resolve - then the website will no longer come up when your domain is typed in.
