I actually think this is a very good idea, especially for lower priced domains. <o

I am not sure I understand why this would be so much different from selling your domain name on EBay where almost all buyers pay with PayPal anyway?
Doesn't PayPal also have a feature where you can choose to "reject" or "not accept" a payment? It has happened to me once or twice over the years that I have received an email from PayPal stating something along the lines of "The other party has rejected your payment and refunded you". You could use this and demand another form of payment if there are any question marks over the buyer.
With a âBuy this domain nowâ button you would allow for people to do "impulse shopping" of a domain name that they like, (which I think is the OP's main reason for trying this?). To make this a little safer you could have an auto-responder set-up to send an email immediately after the purchase asking the buyer to send some further information to confirm and verify the purchase.
I think the lack of a clearly stated price and the lack of information on the purchase process are two large reasons why more domains aren't sold immediately when a potential buyers land on the parking page that just offers a "make an offer" link.<o
