Fcuk buydomains but this is what I want to know: Has anyone approached them and get a price quote for a domain? What was the name and what was the price quote? Is it really ns1.this-domain-is-for-sale.com?

I am sure it is entirely unreasonable. They appear to be more interested in waiting around for suckers and highly motivated (desperate) end users. That business model must be working for them, though. It's good to be the king.

agree with front, they will wait for the right end user. :)

Sometimes they do a sale though, but I've never seen below $288. :D

A couple of months ago, BD's number was 150,000. About two months ago it became 175,000. And at the rate that they have been catching, 240,000 sounds about right for now!

Have bought quite a few names from them over the past two years. Paid very strong prices. And they don't like to negotiate.

I try to be cautious about not infringing on trademarks.

I am not a tm lawyer. But, I would speculate BD is not as cautious. I am sure they know 10,000 times more about TM then me.

However, ????

Plus, I am sure, they can afford to fight the TM complaint longer and better than most of us.

I've requested several prices from them, and some of them are almost worth considering. I can see that end-users would hand over their money.

I requested a price for miss.com, and got a $50k response, which isn't ridiculous IMHO..

If I want to find something, I always use Google.

BDs prices arent that bad, sometimes.

I wanted LogoServices.com, they first started with $2800, and now keep emailing me with a lower price, I cant stop em! lol

I think its down to $2k now..

That not bad for an enduser, for any domain.

Sounds a reasonable price to me if you're in the templates business.
