Registrar:
As the registrar of record for the domain registration registered to
(xxxx xxxx), please verify with the registrant that all of the
following is accurate and current:
1. (Registrant name) is the full legal name of the registrant,
corresponds to the correct legal type, and is compliant with Canadian
Presence Requirement (http://www.cira.ca/en/cat_Registration.html).
2. (Admin name) is the full legal name of the administrative
contact for the registrant and all admin contact information is full and
complete.
It is the registrar's responsibility to take reasonable steps to
investigate, confirm, and submit correct information to CIRA. If the
registrar is unable to authenticate the above within 5 CIRA business
days (CBD), CIRA will begin suspension proceedings for the domain
registrations(s). Cancellation of the domain name registration(s) may
follow the suspension. CIRA will notify the registrant (by the
registrant's admin contact's listed email address) and the registrant's
registrar if there is a suspension/cancellation.
Please note that during the Registrant Information Validation (RIV)
process, CIRA is restricting the Registrant profile and all domains
associated with it, this includes Registrar transfers, Registrant
transfers and administrative contact changes etc. Unless the Registrant
is unable to respond satisfactorily to CIRA's RIV request, the
restrictions will be removed upon completion of the RIV process.
