ok, here's something a little more challenging for you ;)

Peter is two times older than Joe was, when Peter was the same age as Joe now
They are both together 56, how old is Peter and Joe?

lets see if you can solve this ;)

Peter --> 32
Joe --> 24

Here is an another one,lets see who gets it right.

A man wanted to enter an vip club but did not know the password
that
was required. He waited by the door and listened.
A club member knocked on the door and the doorman said, “twelve.” The
member replied, “six ” and was let in.
A second member came to the door and the doorman said, “six.” The
member
replied, “three” and was let in.
The man thought he had heard enough and walked up to the door. The
doorman
said ,”ten” and the man replied, “five.”
But he was not let in. What should have he said?

Three .. or 3 ... :)

There was a man who had no eyes
He went out to view the skies
He saw a tree with apples on it
He took no apples off it yet left no apples on it

Soooo ... how did he do all of the above

Hehe, yeah that one is pretty simple.

Here is a proof that 2 is actually equal to 1.

Proof: 2=1

a = b
a2 = ab
a2 - b2 = ab-b2
(a-b)(a+b) = b(a-b)
a+b = b
b+b = b
2b = b
2 = 1

a2 = 2 <= 1 times 2 equals 2
ab = 1 <= 1 times 1 equals 1
a2 != ab

The man had one eye and the tree had 2 apples.

Reason: The Plural wording.

Eyes is plural, but he could see with one eye.

He didn't take apples, he took an apple, leaving no apples on it but a single apple on it.

:yes:

The answer is light speed, or can't be done. If you travel 30 MPH for 2 minutes and 90 MPH for one minute, they will not average 60 MPH.
To travel 2 miles at 60 mph, you have to do it in 2 minutes. Once you've used up the 2 minutes, it can't be done.
