Hi guys

My search for aging domains turned up some reasonable names, but nothing quite mapped onto the gambling sector in the "easily brandable" way I'd have liked.

I am after a .com domain to be developed into a casino domain with an easily brandable name (edit: no poker domains thanks). It doesnt have to be keyword, but it must be .com. The recently advertised 777.net appealed a lot but would prefer a .com.

Anything you have that could be applied to casino, let me know. If it has revenue fine, as I say I can extend the budget, although parking/adsense revenue doesn't really appeal whereas as it is for developing so I will be losing that: if its already a gambling site, that would appeal more but isn't essential.

Please let me know by PM with any info and ballpark price. As before, I'll get back in contact if it is of interest.

Cheers

Ian

EDIT: Thanks for all the PM's - not seen the right one yet (yes sorry for the global sweeping reply). Most are not quite "snappy" enough for branding purposes but please keep them coming.

Thanks guys

Just read through the latest list. I'm still struggling on the branding front with the names presented so far though. One or two are nice names, nicely brandable, but not in the casino market IMO.

So still open to suggestions.

Just a couple more points to add to the definition: I'm not interested in typos, nor in non-English words. I'm not really looking for a casino name as such, its for an affiliate site so names more suited to "generic terms" or made up words with an obvious casino connotation are better. Short is good too. 777 is memorable, generic enough - that type of thing.

Cheers

Ian

Checked all the PM's thus far. Still not got a strong brand name though, or though one or two are getting closer. Here's another way to think about it:

For example, when I say to people in my industry i own "OGGS.com", they often recognise the name because it's not the usual casinowebsitename.com or amazingcasinoreviews.com name - it sticks out. Thats what I am looking for - something with that impact, in the .com extension. If that helps :)

Cheers

Ian

I have 50statesCasinos.com which I was planning to develop as directory portal for all casinos in the US. The domain 50states.com is owned by marchex. It is not only their showcase domain, but also highly brandable. The directory structure is implied in the name itself. For a more recent branding of a 50states domain see 50statesclassifieds.com and get back to me if interested.

Thanks for the post (PM's are preferred if anyone else is reading).

The problem with that one is that gamblin at online casinos are illegal in 9 of the US States and the law being "grey" in NYC and NJ, deemed to be illegal there too. Now if you had 39States.... ;) J/k.

Appreciate the thought :) "Punter" is however more associated with sports betting than casino so probably not quite suitable. But cheers anyway.

Dreamking's "Casinosia.com" (above) is along the right lines for branding and memorability, but has an ambiguous pronunciation issue ("casinoseer.com") which I am keen to avoid in spoken word.

Thanks to everyone for the latest batch of PM's - unfortunately still nothing leaping out and grabbing me just yet. One is very close though and may work as a fallback - have PM'ed the relevant DNF'er. Regards the DNF'er who asked if I have a 7-figure budget...erm...unfortunately no, and even if I did I'd probably buy a house, a car and a few Playboy bunnies for company rather than a domain name...but maybe that's just me :D

Still looking :approve:
