To everyone who is wondering,

I was contacted by the supposed owner of this domain who was looking to sell. I verified the domain by a DNS change and got a signed contract, which I will make available to anyone who would like to see it. I am presently working with GoDaddy to resolve the ownership of this domain. If it turns out that it was stolen, I will gladly return it to the rightful owner. I was hoping to you use this sale to fund some purchases at the upcoming auction to rebuild my portfolio. Needless to say, the sale of this domain is canceled until these problems can be resolved.

Thanks

If you want to resolve this without losing your domain foreskin (metaphorically speaking) contact its lawful owner, as I did:

Mr. Douglas Gilmore
Community Club Awards, Inc. (CCA)
phone: 203-226-3377

Be prepared to surrender all evidence that supports the claims you just made. Until then, you will have to prove you are not an elephant.

Too bad he didnt take Denny's offer
Actually he took it, started Moniker escrow, I asked Maroulis to call the rpevious owner because it stunk, and the original owner confirmed it was indeed stolen. This is the good side of Domaintools, without it would be more difficult to verify stolen domain names.

And of course the seller is the thief OR had to know is stolen, this stunk from the start.

The original owner never even thanked Maroulis to save his domain, ungraitful pieces of sh*ts...

I know about another stolen LLL on sale and the buyer contacted the owner several times and they do not believe him (because the thief did not change DNS), so these idiots should lose those domains because they are too stupid to own a domain anyway...

A lot of people did a good job here...Denny relied on his gut feeling to double check, Maroulis spoke to the original owner, Acro as well, Focus held back his offer, and Johnn looked into this as well.

Nice job. Congratulations to all of you. It's good to see that the domain has been recovered.

That would explain lack of "thank you" for saving his domain.
