technically, you are not supposed to have two accounts here at DNF, Exclusive Invites can't be used if you already have an account here

Update : I just got a reply from the old owner I bought this domain from. Here's what he said : Im using my hotmail account, takeruya_zen

Dear Zen,
Its a pure lie.We purchased this domain for from the original owner, after a
lenghthy negotiation.Infact the original owner was letting this domain expire
and only 8 days were left for expiration. But when the original owner got to to
know that we had put it up for sale at sedo and we may get more price for the
domain name,he started to email us requesting the domain name back.He lied in
his emails,he even offered to give us more price for the domain name.Well we
never entertained him.And thus he must have spearding the rumours.
One one after that ever contacted us with any legal issue regarding this
domain. We even today have the experts of the email with that person.
And you should not feel concerned regarding such issue. You have purchased the
domain name from us and you also also have the full details of the domain name
sale with sedo.So you can always prove that you have paid for the domain name.
Sincerely,
Sukhvinder Singh

Very interesting. And yes, a lot of last minute purchases of expiring domains are common, if you know how to negotiate.

If Sukhvinder Singh ("Tiger") can demonstrate he paid Ronald Creamer, then it's easy to show it isn't a stolen domain. Given the situation with RL.com, and that Richard (locos) was able to reach the true prior owner, I doubt it. Follow the money....

This is a messy saituation indeed. I wish you best of luck, considering you aren't involved in some shady business.

Other supporting facts would be the alleged emails (i.e. from that "lengthy negotiation") and/or phonecalls and faxes. Long distance records would show if calls were made to the other party (when I buy a valuable domain, I make a point of calling the seller --- then my telephone bill has a record of that, in order to help document the transaction).

Good advice George. So you don't just do a leap of faith? :-D

hehe Actually, I find as much information* as possible, first. At some point, though, you have to make a decision, because it's rare to have perfect and complete information. That's when I make the "leap of faith". :)

*Or financial models/research, as per my company names. I actually got the idea for the company name watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, in the scene where Indiana has to make a "leap of faith" to cross over a seemingly wide chasm, in order to get to the cave with the Holy Grail to save his dying father.

Update [2 pm]: I just talked to Ronald Creamer by telephone, and believe his story over Tiger's. I'm confident, given past domain theft cases, that they'd be in a strong position to ultimately recover the domain if Tiger can't demonstrate how he got it.

Until Tiger demonstrates he actually even paid for the name, I would hope Sedo and Rudy hold off and do the right things, so that the name doesn't switch hands again, and the rightful owner can be determined (most likely the Creamers).

I'll take two leaps of faith for $1000 Alex:

If Tiger can prove that he bought the domain off the real Ron Creamer, I'll donate $1000 to the (US or Canadian) charity of Mole's choice.

If Tiger can prove that he bought RL.com off the real Dale Mayberry, I'll donate another $1000 to the (US or Canadian) charity of Tiger's choice.
