The FF3 awesome bar is essentially a more annoying version of the same thing chrome does. I think FF is in trouble - FF3 has been underwhelming for me and the awesome bar particularly un-awesome.

Chrome's autocomplete on the other hand is great, and I love the speed. But I'm still having issues on highly interactive sites with it.

Been using Chrome since day #1 and except for javascript issues am happy with it. Also like the Tab feature a lot and the cool ability to look at thumbnails of sites recently visited.

At first I was under the impression Chrome would be a negative to direct navigation but what with the search box and browser bar being combined instead of separate I now feel it could actually benefit typeins.

A reason for that is many people often typein a url into a search box (instead of browser window) which often proceeds to do a search. By combining search and browser window I have discovered they likely may go to the actual url (assuming it's listed in G and resolves) rather than usually performing a search as with IE7.

There are other Chrome benefits too including its speed and simple uncluttered look which occupies very little screen space, especially with less need to run the old Google Toolbar.
