I randomly checked a few of mine, and they seem to be back to normal. Man, what a scare huh?

Currently, CIRA is having an issue with their WHOIS data. A portion of dot-ca domains are listed as "available" even though they are actually already registered.
The following was a notice we have received from CIRA at 09:22 EST:

WHOIS Synchronization issue
Our technical staff is investigating the cause of the WHOIS synchronization issues. We are working to restore service within the hour.
I will send an update when the cause is identified.

It's a shame, for all the revenue brought in, the promotional aspect of their plan had to fall off the back of the truck.Must be an expensive business to run otherwise they would probably do a commercial or two about .ca.
