www.netfleet.com.au has about 1,500 domains for sale.

In terms of change of onwnership, transfer yout domains to Intaserve.com (for free) and then transfer to another party.

Their renewal fees are $27.95 for 2 years & they will do a deal on the transfer fee too if you ask nicely :)

If you have enough volume and/or relationship with them you should be able to get it down to around $50 - that's INCLUDING the 2 year renewal so I guess that's $22 for the transfer itself

cheers

$22?
You must be joking
Have you ever used intaserve to transfer a .au domain name licence?

Sorry for late reply. What I mean is $50 all up. They charge $27.95 for 2 years rego (which is mandatory in any transfer) so I guess they account for the transfer cost as $22. Hope that clarifies...

Thanks!

Update to original thread:

Netfleet.com.au now has the most .au domains listed & has seen some significant sales (about 4,500 names)
Nameseek.com.au also gaining market share thanks to an acquisition (about 3,000 names)
Domainshed.com.au also continually adding to their inventory (around 1,000 names)

Key question is how many marketplaces can such a small market support? Esp with plenty of sale restrictions still in force. Time will tell I guess...

So Canberra.tv couldn't sell for $300 3 years ago then sells for 12 times that this year. That shows the strength of the .tv extension doesn't it?

Or did the Sedo buyer grossly overpay?

BTW back on topic pwc.com.au sold on Netfleet for $10,450- http://www.itwire.com/content/view/20751/1095/

Another 5-fig sale in .au should see two entries for Australia on DNJournal sales report this week for the first time. The .au aftermarket is gaining traction....
