Committee invitations going out....

The other thread got to long so it was time to start a new one.....

Invitations will go out tomorrow to potential committee members... for the below mentioned task force.

If you would like to be involved please indicate so below:

A new committee to analyse the future business development of the site will be formed to resolve these issues.

Will consist of 10-12 people that have ideas on the direction of the site.

The committee will dicsuss the business developments of this site and future direction and report back to the members.

Mr Webname, my comment was not directed toward you in general. I just think the commitee idea is bogus.

I think most users would agree that our main goal is to buy/sell domains and not have to deal with the glee club bullshit.

Namecaster - I agree with you 100%! There is one member on that panel that you mentioned who I consider to be among the least respected, and not coincidentally, most disliked on this entire Forum. In fact, he's only here today because new management wanted his $49.95 badly enough to unban him, IMHO. Again, we go back to the issue of the committee selection PROCESS. I am of the belief that since we're all paid members (who are permitted to list for sale in the Live auctions) that we ALL ought to have a say in who represents us at the committee level. Upon further inspection, it also appears as though people were appointed to this committee without even being asked if they'd wish to serve. No less than three named members have withdrawn at this point in time. Has there even been a meeting yet?!?
With all due respect, please reconsider the process of selection for inclusion on the committee ... all of us paying members deserve a say. In my most humble opinion, of course.

The whole community concept went out the window a few weeks back.
I've spent most of my time here at DNF in the appraisal section so I've usually been able to avoid getting involved in the political aspects.

Things are so foobared at DNF lately I'm not sure what threads are which. One day buyers see the domains for sale...the next day they don't. One day a silver member can post somewhere else...the next day they can't. The list goes on.

I'm 40 phuckin years old and I know a lot about business!
And signing up paying members with their expectations being for at least what they signed up for is one of them.

You can't just change the game and/or rules as you go.
I realize DNF is a forum so you'll never to be able to please everyone.

But for the love of GOD!
Please get a business plan and stick with it!
