Maybe they can help police stop speeders and red light runners too, and eventually tell us what days we can water our lawns and go shopping. Microsoft, may I goto the bathroom?
The easy solution here is to offer a monetization service commensurate with what Yahoo and Google already have and earn their piece of the traffic ppc pie.
I have to say that due to the issues & dangers surrounding the typo and tm industry I have gotten rid of 99% of my small collection of tm names and now focus only on generics...but there are still people out there who rely on this to feed their children and pay the bills and it seems microsoft will not be happy until they all go hungry. Who is right or wrong here? Well thats a moral and ethical issue..but the fact of the matter is, the companies who are supposingly the "victims" are going to either pay money to yahoo, google OR microsoft to do business online when they advertise their website or service..whether or not there is a middleman involved is really of the most concern to those companies who surely would like to take the whole pie themselves...in typical Monopolistic fashion.
