The most important factor moving forward for high interest in auctions is
quality names. Domainers, and especially potential business end-users, will not waste their time perusing auctions with names that are of obvious low quality. What concerns me is how/why supposed domain professionals would opt to put such domains in an auction. To me, it's not the number of auctions that is the problem. It's the venue itself and whether it's properly promoted and contains a nice selection of names.
I predict that some new players will emerge in the domain auction business who may have more reach and experience in the field ... who will push things to a higher plateau. I like the auctions, but believe there is much room for improvement.
