I would be interested to know if anyone has had any luck or tips for contacting major companies about a domain name.
A perfect example was the domain name yogurt.com that dictionaryof had for sale a while back (hope you dont mnd me using this as an example). Im sure companies such as yoplait, danone.etc would be interested in the name, however what would be the best way to contact the actual decision makers that can put together a decent offer.
Has anyone tried contacting major companies with prime, generic names which would domanate the online industry?
If so, would it be best to call the whois number (no decision makers here i would think) , email them (i would think that it would jsut get put straight into the deleted items), fax them (not sure), or find a number for the corporate headquarters an call that?
