We've helped many people from dnforum over the years. We don't low ball but we might offer less than you think your name is worth. The bottom line is we can advance you more than we could get wholesale for a name. No loan officer would.

For those that need our service, we are fast and reliable.

Great service. Got a pretty big loan there before on one of my better names.

Very smooth. Highest recommendation.

well , All I can tell you is that the interest is negotiable , and domain values for collateral are not in the region of what you would expect to sell them at , but they are better than most other lending companies

Think of it this way: when you walk into a pawn shop do you expect retail price?

As a repeat customer I can confirm Rick offers a great service.

Definitely do not expect wonderful values for your names.

If you pawn a $1500 guitar, you may get like $250 right?

or a $500 car system may give you $75...

same goes when pawning domains

Once upon a time I considered making a pawn shop for domains, - still may happen someday :)

I've used Rick's Digipawn twice, and both times was happy. You'll need to leverage a real good name worth at least twice the amount loaned (at least that was my experience), but in situations where you need funding it is worth it. I always liked the fact that Rick personally responded to email questions I had.

It seems to me you have to have a real gem to get any chance of lending :-0

Great idea and concept. Is it just domain names or websites as well? Some sites can be worth much money with links/traffic, but I guess if digipawn would take control over it, they would have to keep updating it to maintain integrity...that may not be a field they are into.

Steve,

At DigiPawn we become the registrant during the term of the deal but we don't modify the DNS servers. The customer still runs the site.

A Pawn Shop is a Pawn Shop, don't expect anything other than a very high
rip off interest rate and/or an attempt by them to get their hands on your best
domains for nothing. Amazing what the recession brings out. Oh yeh, dont tell
me Rick Latona is a great guy and does it for love, lol.

So wait...this isn't a pawn shop.
This is a loan service that takes domain as collateral?

So you give the domain back right after loan is paid off?

If this service don't like you, don't use it.

But it's a great service.
