i was also fooled by sedo, i thought it was bought up by central nic as a Danish domain!

Anyways im one of those who thinks the 2 letter/char TLD's are very much a bloated market, i would never use such short domains to market a business.

Short domains have a matured market. They have a specific minimum price. They are valueable, yet limited to certain extend. However, for generic domains like mint.com and fresh.com as you suggested, have a lot more potential than those meaningless short domains. It's all about meaning and psychology. Other than that, some weird guidelines kick in to play.

Agree on Sedo's poor font choice. Combined with the low-res graphics and offsetting color scheme, this was probably done originally to block OCR.

DNSalePrice uses a text feed from Sedo so you can check there safely without being deceived. Just use blank keywords and click "Go" to see most recent sales.
