The highest ever bid was $1 million but that was never paid and it is not current.

Highest winning bid was:-
MOTHERBOARD.COM on 18th April 2003 at $27,502

SchoolBus.com had a 17,000 bid on it awhile back.

Not sure if they got it or not.

Now we have

- Ad.net - $104001 (Zoobar)
- Beijing.com at $40,000+ (GeorgeK)
- Voice.com - $33,000 (devalution)
- motherboard.com $27K (stuff)
- Offshore.com - $25K (GeorgeK)
- SchoolBus.com - $17K (Bob)
- every.com 10,001 (Unregistered)
- qv.com 9,352 (Unregistered)
- BQ.NET at $6999.00 (centerpoint)
- BillGates.com at $5K (fastautos)
- QAZ.NET at $35

Now the highest is ad.net. Can anybody beat this ?

Keep posting...

Although I understand your point.

Its a great name to add to thier cuaght list.

SnapNames (apparently) devotes more resources to higher value names so that customers will be happy and multiply.

One million would be reasonable in extreem cases.... I would say for the following names...

sex.com
xxx.com
business.com
software.com
computers.com
fast-autos.com :swg:

those are the only 1 million dollars NW bids that could be reasonable ;)
