Is there any problem with a Raffle if there is no profit?

If you sell tickets for the value of a Domain (Exemple : 25 tickets of $10 for a CCC.COM witch $250 is a bottom value on the market), there is no real profit...

"No profit" would mean you paid $250 for the domain. If you registered it (for a reg fee) or paid less for it, then if you make over that, then it is a profit.

Profit is irrelevant to what something is "worth" now.

Can't see how this could possibly be illegal in the UK, sure it would be fine.

All this political pedanticness and correctness can kiss my arse, it's a bloomin' daft notion, the council thinking they might have a right to clamp down on something like this.

Talk about living in a nanny state, won't be able to breath soon without a license.

Great idea, love it.

I just find it amazing that people in so called positions of authority can come down so hard on things like this, crying foul etc, yet at the same time it's fine to blanket bomb a country in an illegal war, blowing the arms and legs off children and babies.

The hypocrisy of government legislature is absolutely astounding, maybe they need to get their priorities straightened out between something so innocent, for which they come down like a ton of bricks upon, and the barbaric atrocities aforementioned which they allow to get off scot free.
