I'm lookin for a good reseller plan.
I've read many discussions on DNF in past but I don't focus what is better TODAY.

Better Godaddy reseller or Enom?
Some said Enom is better from a domainer point of view, other GoDaddy is better from a reseller point of view.

Suggestions (based from your experience) very appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you considered resellerclub? I believe they offer more ccTLDs than the other 2.

i've used and still have the page up for, Enom's RegistryRocket Reseller website.

it's free and you can point your domain to the url they give you. The site allows for some basic "Title" and "Menu" text edits.

at least that's how it worked, the last time i set it up.

sold a few registrations, but none lately.

they also have the "api" system for resellers as well.

maybe i should rev that engine up too :)

Godaddy's reseller program would be nice if they allowed for free pushes between other GD resellers.

As an example, having to pay a transfer fee from, "WildWestDomains" to Godaddy.com...when Godaddy is master of them all.

It's an unnecessary expense for GD resellers and or domainers to pay, for operating within the same co. While at the same time charging a fee for the reseller website.

i don't know how deep the fee structure is for Enom's API system, so my point could be moot.

if there is a fee at Enom for that, then you could compare both services' fee's,the use and application functions that you feel best appeal to you, that are within your budget, your tech skills, and time availability.

imo...

Well, I will never do business with enom if I can help it. They screw you every chance they get IMO.

Godaddy is ok, but they have a crazy yearly fee...if they got rid of that scam fee...I would suggest godaddy....but I cannot suggest them otherwise (And I use them for my reseller)...I am not going to renew next time around...I have to come up with a solution as well for my current customers when I move away from godaddy.

I think they charge too much for their yearly fee...I have the highest level reseller program, and they will not let me downgrade to the regular plan...the one I am stuck with cost about $179/year.

Create a new plan, instead of renewing domains, transfer them into your cheaper reseller account. Then cancel the higher one.

Another thing you can consider is when a reseller closes their reseller account, what happens to all the domains under it? Are they absorbed under the main Godaddy site?

Whatever the top one is...I think super.

Good idea.

Yes, I asked....they told me that the names would go under wildwest management.

I do business to both of them...

Enom Technology Partner (www.NeedName.com), you can get a $7.99 reseller account for one time fee of $99.95, read here http://reseller.king.net blog for more details. Reseller partners in hundred +, mostly domainers.

For Godaddy Reseller, I use www.moscom.com for cheaper reseller account compare to getting this account from Godaddy. Same services, support and other features.
Basic Reseller $59.99
Pro Reseller $159.99

Send me email to EM @KING.NET for other questions.
Regards,
EM

That must be a Pro Reseller, though you can get it for $159 through Moscom.com services.

Onward, pm me for godaddy reseller account.

EM

Theres another scenario. Where you are a reseller and have a reseller that has bought an account through you, if they quit, all their clients etc rolls up to your account - kind like an mlm.

If you read the terms and conditions, you will never become a reseller for either of them

Many people choose to ignore the terms and conditions

I would say GD is pretty good, I have about 120 or so clients, some that do bulk regs at exclusiveidentity.com - but I had my prices sooo low rev wasnt great. Otherwise I would agree with Biggie that it is just dumb that GD doesn't allow pushes between GD and WWD! Do they even realize how much more users they will get if they change that and promote the change!!!!!!!!!!!
