It's always with a small fee, never at 0 cost.

Actually thats not true. Dynadot allows for free deletion, though I dont think their are registrars that will allow you to delete the domains and then withdraw the funds..They're not a bank.

moniker is charging a BUCK! I did not realize it was flexible...I think $1.00 is high for something optional.....hope they drop their fee a bit!

Wow. Domain kiting, domain tasting... I wonder what the next *method domainers will discover or invent to squeeze every last cent out of this business.

* method - or loophole, scheme, scam, trick, technique, process, system, way, procedure, strategy, tactic, plan, gambit (am I missing any?).

Yea, all these creative and innovative people are truly a menace to society. They should stop using those computers and go hunting with their bare hands. ;)

I prefer my favorite way of making money from domains. By developing them then selling them with hard work.

registerfly used to allow this for free, but:
1) you have to contact the support at least 2 times per domain
2) after deleting it, the domain will still "be" in your acount domains list

plan on paying icann fees

There is no Icann or verisign fee for deleting domains. Registrar have a 5 day grace period during which they can delete the name and they get full refund. The $0.25 moniker fee is pure profit for moniker.
