Hi all,

We all know how paypal can be sometimes. I've shipped products in the past and been scammed out of buyers via Paypal through disputes. I'm wondering how this works for digital media and products. Am I pretty safe to perform a transfer after receiving funds considering there's no seller protection? Can buyers submit "claims" for such? Just trying to cover my a$$ before transferring this domain over and I've been burnt before by paypal.

Thanks guys and Happy Holidays!

There is technically no "seller protection" however, I have had one person try to run with the name and claim it was never delivered. I called PayPal and made my claim, provided all the proof and gave them a piece of my mind when they told me about the no seller protection and they ruled in my favor.

Basically, what I have started doing is including something like this comment in the PayPal invoices I sent out: "By paying this invoice you agree that there are no refunds, that you have/will indeed receive the domain name (insert name here) you have are paying for".
That seems to add an extra edge of protection. Worked for me.

Thanks a lot KC. Everything worked out perfect :)

P.S, nice grab on Helicopters.net. I was going for it in Aug - namejet auction.

Glad to hear it worked out for you!

That is my clients domain name...although, I did use to fly them so I guess that counts as something :)
