Are you kidding? What do you think 80-90% of this business is??????? Domainers. It's like any other collecting business or stock market speculation. It's land rush speculation thats what makes the business world go round. You think you r gonna stop it? That's like saying don't buy property cuz there won't be any left and the escrow office is going to make all the money. The difference is you have to pay for regs. Do you ever get a decent offer for your domains from a private party wanting to buy one of your domains? They have not got a clue as to what domains go for. Most of them want to give you $20-$50.00. It's the domainer developers that pay the going rates.

But we're not discounting domainer's intelligence and domainer's part in developing the www, aren't we?
A significant part of domainers must also be connected to developing IMO.
I agree there might be a market correction, especially when you get the impression that 50% of the www are parked pages.
On the other hand, domain parking is developing into a service itself, becoming more intelligent with new services.
It's about interests finding to each other and there are many ways to make that happen between typing something with your fingers to pulling out the credit card... ad-feeds are a kind of searchengine service itself and domainers are providing "access by means of address".
I don't mind having the joy of a collector meanwhile...
