A pre-auction offer from one of the owners? Is that a joke? Mind sharing the URL?

Thanks for the link. I actually went through that thread before posting but to no avail. And then I notice this:
To be fair, $20K is a good price for someone who like to start a big domain forum.
Nailed.Acro,
Your criticisms of domainstate would be a lot more credible if they weren't so persistent and absolute - and accompanied by the fact that they banned you.
Dude, there was a reason for this. Quick money is not *everything* :idea:Ditto.
If DomainState allowed search engine index from day 1, they could have been in a much higher level today.

Matt... it's been 5 damn years. I didn't intend to come back here in the middle of a headbutting, but for the sake of the (really old!) days I want to thank you for showing true Aussie spirit
On the subject of personal opinions, I understand sometimes (or often times) I come forth very opinionated. Yes, I should add water to my wine. I apologize for raising the tones of this 'game'. Frankly, coming here to see the insides of DomainState after such long time has passed, was like a time capsule Very little has changed in the visuals (only teasing) but I am glad you're doing well.
With regards to the sale, I wish you the best, the recent changes in the the selling process definitely raised the interest in the domain. If anything else, you need to raise your asking price!
Nailed.
Theo, I am sure your a nice guy with a lot of entertaining and business skills. However, your criticisms are quite "boring" and unjustified. And at the same time you defend a questionable member (spam...) here just because you sold him a website of yours, a year after making sarcastic comments about him thru various posts ??? I know its business, but please..., be fair.

Yes, I knew there must be a reason for doing this. At least it protects member's privacy.

As a matter of FACT, I have sold a domain (for $1,000, no haggling, 100% asking price) because a buyer from China found my post in the Buy Sell Trade section of a local (Toronto) forum at Google. Isn't that beautiful?Dude, there was a reason for this. Quick money is not *everything*
What privacy they want to protect?
As long as we are connected to the Internet, we don't have assurance of privacy.
IMHO
