Trafficclub

Hi Denny

The day you posted this my traffic from China that was using TrafficClub all dissapeared...a coincidence or someone from TC seeing this comment and making changes to their system?

I have now lost over $100 a day that was being generated on this traffic!

If you have any other suggestions perhaps PM them to me, as it seems that TrafficClub no longer pays/works for traffic from China.

Cheers

Graham.

I was going to comment on this earlier, but forgot. After Denny posted I emailed TrafficClub support and inquired about Chinese traffic, in particular in relation my numeric domains. Here was their reply:

"...Currently none of our partners accept traffic from China, the reason being
that it does not convert into sales for the advertisers offering their
listings on parked pages.

Furthermore, numeric domains with traffic from any country where the Latin
alphabet is not predominate is of major concern to our partners, as it
makes conversions from type-ins (where the visitor types in the domain
name in the browser to visit) extremely difficult, and numeric/random
character domains are known to advertisers, whether always the case or
not, to be untargeted and unconvertable traffic that would drain their
funds.

This is why only type in traffic is accepted. The system is not meant to
deter domainers from parking, but rather assure that advertisers are
satisfied with the policies so that they are assured a return on their
investment and keep their listings in place.

As such, the nameserver issue would not apply, as the traffic from China
would be blocked by our partners (DomainSponsor is one of them) anyway as
much as China would be blocking the nameserver.

We apologize that we do not have a solution for you, but hope that this
information was helpful. Please let us know if you have any other
questions.

Sincerely,

TrafficClub.com Support"

Hope this helps.

Hi Paxton

Sort of helps, although now I am not sure who to blame, you or Denny!!

Cheers.

Prior to your contact with them TC/Google were paying on traffic from China, not much, but at least something!

Hi Graham,

Do you have an account with Dopa directly? I have a few numeric domains with high Chinese traffic parked with Dopa and they are doing reasonably well.

Cheers.

Haha! I certainly hope I had nothing to do with this. My guess is that it was based on the DomainSponsor decision to stop using partners that accept Chinese traffic, and not on Denny's public post or my private inquiry.

As it is, Dopa IS accepting my chinese traffic. After their recent overhaul, it seems things are running smoothly and my traffic has increased to normal levels. I am still recommending Dopa.com to people looking to monetize Chinese traffic.

Hi Sevent,

I read that they were not accepting new a/c, do you think this maybe incorrect? As I would be happy to give them a try. Can you PM me an email contact perhaps?

Cheers.

This is the reply I just received from TC Support:

Hello!

The government of China is aggressively moving to block traffic coming
from that country to Western servers. This is in the level of the incoming
traffic and cannot be changed from TrafficClub.

Most traffic from China does not monetize for our mostly English
predominant and serving advertisers anyhow, who likewise are looking to
pay for ads that have the best chance of converting to sales for them.

I hope this information helps. Please let us know if you have any other
questions.

Sincerely,

TrafficClub.com Support

I checked now - trafficlub (even the account management !) block all traffic from China. This started sometime during Nov. 22

I CAN understand blocking traffic (although some info email about it would be appropriate) however I do not understand they block also management panel.
