I was wondering if anyone had any information on record prices paid for dot nets and also what the market has been doing for dot nets recently.

For example, how much would casino dot net be valued at, in your opinion (were it for sale)?

For Casino.net... I'd say $xx,xxx - but not sure whether it'd be at the high or low end of that range. Perhaps $4x,xxx?

Seems like about 10~15% as Focus said.
However, for "Sex" and "Porn", .net is about 1% of .com :uhoh:

It is a generalization. Quite often the .com is not for sale or it's being sold at astronomical prices. Also, certain locales e.g. Germany, like TLD's such as .net or .info as alternatives to .de, bypassing the .com

Have several 5 figure .net sales but really there is so much to take into account that putting a % to start is about all you can do to at least have a minimum. The question than becomes being able to build on that price based on industry/use, traffic etc etc etc.
