Well, .bi domains can already be registered, it's a valid ccTLD.
So I take it that some people here at DNF are opposed to a TLD ".gay"? Let me ask you a question. Are you also opposed to ".bi"? I assume not. Because most domainers have no clue about the existence of ".bi". And thats the whole point: ".gay" is a community TLD. It's for the gay community and limited to it. As long as you are not gay there is no need to care about the TLD. And the overwhelming response to the ".gay" plans is very supportive.
