Too many to list them all :)

I like cars with character, especially the classics - most modern cars come out looking the same when they're tested in wind tunnels.. My choice would be:

Classics:
Aston Martin DB5 (the Sean Connery Bond car)
Austin Healey 3000
MG TC
Mini Cooper S

Modern:
Porsche Carrera
Audi RS6 (awesome car for around $180,000 - 600hp with a few mods - I got to drive one sideways recently)
Mini Cooper S

I like Wilco's choice in Landy's too

Out of interest, what does everyone actually drive? My current run-about is an Audi TT Quattro - gets me from A to B and hugs the ground at 140mph :)

that's a pretty sweet landrover :)

Now ya bummed me out...LR stopped shipping defenders into the states and the 94-97's that are around are way overpriced. I had to opt for a landcruiser instead...I have heard rumors of them starting to ship them in again...in which case...it will be time to visit the dealership. This double cab pickup is especially sweet.

oo and as to the dream car...

63 split back vette
Original Shelby A/C Cobra
Porsche 959
Ands just to play around in a Lotus Elise set up for the track.

addendum: OK now I do feel sick, the price in GB for a new one is almost half of what a used '97 defender will cost you here now...maybe its time to do one of those combo purchase/travel packages....buy it there drive it the required mileage to make it "used" then ship it back.
