Considering buying dreamweaver. Is it worth the money? What are others here using? Is there a way I can demo it? I've looked at most of the other programs and not in love with any of them.

Also trying to start a B2b. Not seeing boxed solutions and it looks like ASP is the norm. Is there not canned solutions for this?

Personally i don't like DW - it's too big and slow. As for "What are others here using?" - i'm using EditPlus - fast, cheap, has all features that i need (i'm using it to edit PHP, (x)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C/C++, usual text, apache conf).

You mean sites that i created with it?

Sure. Here are few last ones: (all sites that aren't English are translated together with web site owners)
http://www.bettissimo.com (Italian)
http://www.scriptat.com (Arabic, used external scripts - "Linker" where i fixed lots of bugs)
http://freeweb.org.ru (small site - took only 3 hours to create it)
http://www.slavanap.org/phpbb/ (created phpBB theme with EditPlus)

All these sites are created with EditPlus (images are created with Fireworks and/or Flash)

I think dream weaver puts too much redundant stuff into a page.

I use 1st page from Evrsoft, because I try to create pages to sell or to grab traffic. I'm not trying to make surfers wait while I display my artistic talents. Remember the most clicked links are text links, not banners or Flash.

I got Dreamweaver 4, but I rarely use it. I'm a big fan of "Macromedia Homesite 5". It use to be owned by another company, I think it was called Allaire. Anyways, you should look up this software. Its great!
