Do you use a particular drop service, if yes which one and is it a paid service.

Me perosnally, outside of .ca drops, I don't partake in them often.

In 2012, would you pay $20 a month for a drop service, why or why not?

Do you feel it's too late to get anything really good in the drops?

Are you like most domainers now trying to unload instead of buying more crap you have no time to develop?

What's your view?

Your input is appreaciated!

Thanks!

This is the first I've seen it...

I think the majority of domainers have dramatically slowed down on using drop services, and I think it has more to do with being outbid beyond what their willing to spend... So we have more domainers dealing in crappy hand regs that never sell, These are domainers who want be part of the easter egg hunt as opposed to buying the easter eggs.

To the question; "Do you feel it's too late to get anything really good in the drops?"

I'm still finding names and their not crap, the number has certainly declined and it has gotten harder, but their still there if you look.

As for the drop service I use, NameJet is my primary.

"Are you like most domainers now trying to unload instead of buying more crap you have no time to develop?"

I'll admit my buying has slowed down, not that it was crap... I think it's slowed down

Few quality domains are dropping nowadays, so the primary sources would be prerelease domains from NJ and SN.
+ buying directly from current holders
+ ccTLD dropcatching
